It was an exceptional meal. I have no notes, no complaints any anything. You can’t go wrong with whatever you choose on the menu. My mom and I were here last year and came to the restaurant and it was really good. Their duck was unbelievable

Eating at Alta was a delight. I went for a birthday dinner with my friend. We shared the quinoa salad and the pork belly appetizer, and then I had the braised pork cheeks. Everything was delicious, and the service was impeccable. When the owner came over to talk to us, my friend mentioned it was my birthday. He returned a few minutes later with two pistachio macarons and a candle for my birthday wish. Pistachio is my favorite flavor, so it felt a bit magical. I can't recommend Alta highly enough.

We had an excellent anniversary dinner at Alta. Our server Brooke gave great recommendations and was very attentive. We really enjoyed the pulled pork croquette (which is more like an egg roll), the pasta (doesn’t need add on protein), and the duck confit special. The owner stopped by to make sure we were enjoying our meal, and they surprised us with macaroons for our anniversary!

My daughter and I have dinner at Alta last night. Let me tell you what a gem.! The food was delicious and the ambiance was just amazing. The service was Wonderful, very cordial and helpful. We are definitely dinning here again.

This restaurant is incredible. The food was unbelievable, both the salmon and the cod were cooked perfectly, melt in your mouth delicious. The flavor profiles were Michelin Star-worthy. The service was incredible. Shout out to Tyler S who took care of us. He was attentive even though he was serving many costumers at once. He was helpful with suggestions when we asked, and anticipated our every need. We dined on the (covered) porch on a rainy cold night, the heat lamps and heated seats made us cozy and warm, great ambiance, very comfortable. 5 stars.

Extremely warm people (owner and servers) and cozy environment. Arrived around 5 and was able to be seated right away. Even though I had made a reservation for later, they still were aware of the dietary restrictions I noted and that we were celebrating a birthday! The food was delicious, a must stop if you’re in the area. Def make a reservation! Note:the porch has heat lamps but is exposed to outside if you make a reservation for the porch.

Absolutely incredible food with a passionate and caring staff to match! I've been here half a dozen times in the last year (every time we come to the Berkshires from Boston!) and have been impressed over and over with the quality of the dishes, service, and the great ambience. I have a severe soy allergy but Alta's menu has very little soy, and I feel very confident in their kitchen's ability to keep me safe. I feel like every time I come the menu is a bit different, but most recently I loved the PEI mussels, the salmon, and the tomato soup. The cocktails are excellent and their wine flights are a great deal and quite delicious as well! The owner is so genuinely kind and accommodating--he goes above and beyond to ensure his guests experiences are great. Overall: Top notch, well-cooked and thoughtful dishes with layers of interesting flavor and texture. Service and ambience are 10/10. The outdoor porch has infrared heaters and heated chairs. We will be back again and again!!

Incredible date night environment with even better service and great food! The wine pairings were perfect as was the attention to detail. The restaurant was very accommodating with a gluten allergy. Highly recommend!
